There are several options for the handling of your pet’s remains after euthanasia.
We offer many options to ensure you are able to celebrate the unique life of your beloved friend.
- Private Cremation ($285)- this option allows the ashes of your pet to be returned to you in a preselected urn of your choosing. With this option, we will handle all aspects of aftercare and work directly with the crematorium on your behalf. When ready, the ashes can be delivered to your regular veterinary office or the crematorium will call to schedule a convenient time for pickup. The cost of this service is $285 regardless of the weight of your pet.
- Communal Cremation ($120)- with this option, you will not receive the ashes of your pet back. However, the crematorium does spread the ashes in their memorial garden which is open to the public and is located at 12200 NW Crooked Rd, Kansas City, MO. With this option, we will handle all aspects of aftercare and work directly with the crematorium on your behalf. The cost of this service is $120 regardless of the weight of your pet.
- Self Directed Aftercare- you always have the option of handling the aftercare of your pet should you have a specific crematorium or burial site already selected.
For these services, we partner with Rolling Acres Pet Cremation Services. Some additional options such as upgraded urns, clay paw prints, ink nose prints, or other add-on may be available for an additional fee and can be discussed on an individual basis as desired.
