Thank you Dr. Megan Hodge💜🙏 Saying goodbye is the hardest thing. But it was much more peaceful to have Megan come to my home, she was such a sweetheart with such a warm sense of compassion. The care and thoughtfulness Dr. Hodge provided us while having to put down our beloved dog Earl down was more than we could have ask for. Her level of understanding and empathy was just what our family needed to help our dog pass over the rainbow bridge. Hiring Sunset Days was the absolute best thing I could have possibly done for my beloved cat. Dr. Hodge is the most compassionate vet I’ve met in the Kansas City area, and after my experience with her I will not hesitate to use Sunset days again if needed for future elderly pets. I’ve already recommended her to a handful of others battling the decline of their pets.
My cat was able to experience the most calm and peaceful transition over rainbow bridge in the comfort of his own home, facing death without fear and surrounded with love. Dr. Hodge was patient with goodbyes, and loved on my fur baby as if he was her own every step of the way. After this beautiful experience I don’t think I could subject my pets to the anxiety and travel of an in office visit for end of life care.
